DISCO 3000 (working title)

Race Horse Company is currently in creation for a new contemporary circus performance premiering in autumn 2017. The piece working titled 'Disco 3000' features unpredictable acrobatic clowns with mischievous intentions.
Circus, theater and variety art have evolved from entertaining the kings and peasantry to producing superstars and mass culture. The performance looks at the real life phenomenon and twists it into crazy versions laughing at the esteemed status of entertainment industry in which the actors rise above the work as the stars. The provocative and dark-hued piece infused with black humor focuses on the performance and engaging with the audience through the art of razor sharp circus skills. The staging will be light and easy to set up in a classic black box.

Set / rigging & technical details

Racehorse Company riggings needs a BLACK-truss box size 3.5m x 2m, hanging on 4 x 500kg points. Trussline going on the middle of the box. E.g. Prolyte H30V . Fly hight 8-10m
Truss box has to be rigid, by anchoring it to venue walls/catwalks etc.
On the both sides of the stage next to the wall on 8m hight(=same as the truss box) has to be at least 2m rigid truss or structure where to rig rope pulleys
Under the side trusses/rigid structures we need to have 4 x 500kg weights. E.g. concrete blocks on a truck pallet or fixed points on the floor or on the wall, just on the floor level. Drilling the pallets to the floor would be desirable thing
